Description

This spray neutralizes chlorine and protects skin and hair from chlorinated pool or water exposure. Sodium ascorbate (a form of vitamin C) is the super star in this spray, as it helps to change chlorine to an unharmful compound that can be easily rinsed from the skin and hair. This helps to prevent and relieve possible effects of chlorine exposure such as itching, burning, and dryness. ⠀⠀

Chlorine naturally reacts with organic compounds that are already present in water, creating harmful and toxic disinfection byproducts (DBPs) such as trihalomethanes (THMs). THMs can be even more concentrated when absorbed through the skin, possibly contributing to health risks that can affect the heart, nervous system, and can be linked to cancer.

How to use

Shake well. Spray generously onto skin, hair and swimsuit before and after swimming in chlorinated water, pools, or spas.

    So smart

    I love the thinking behind this product. Vit c to neutralize chlorine. Brilliant! It smells really nice and sprays well but I only gave 4 stars because I haven't had the chance to take it to the pool yet, but I plan to and I'm excited to try it!

    Combat chlorine

    I use this on my family. Have been using on my little once since 6 month old. Just mist it all over our body let it set for a few minutes and head into the pool.

    Swim Lessons

    I bought this product to use during 7 weeks of swim class for my daughters this spring. Their skin hasn't struggled at all with the chlorine and I assume it's thanks to this spray. The smell is strong but wears off quickly.
