The body cream is much thicker and more moisturizing than the lotion. I use it before bed when wearing pj pants to sleep so it really as time to absorb. It is excellent for the colder months when the air is drier. The Skin Soothe line is the only thing that has made a difference with my contact dermatitis from clothing.

As far as cream versus lotion, if you are looking for fast absorption go with the lotion but it you are looking for a deep moisturizer use the cream.

Fantastic moisturizer, it has a great texture and keeps my skin so soft all day unlike other non organic products that may last 2 hours.

I've ordered this skin sooty body cream multiple times. It's great but I've received it liquidity and gritty three times already. It's best to buy the lotion skin soothe so you don't run into that problem. It's the same price.

I have not used the body cream yet but have purchased the skin soothe body lotion twice before. I wanted something a little moisturizing for those pesky eczema spots. The lotion is wonderful and I am certain the cream will not disappoint.
